As an 8-year second generation prostate cancer survivor of three generations, Derrick has turned his prostate health resilience survivor's story into an inspirational testimony and book. His message is to help men and their families, beginning and during their prostate cancer survivor's journey, know there can be a quality of life after prostate cancer with early detection.
I have been advocating and speaking on prostate health resilience for the last 8-years. Several community organizations, hospitals, and national organizations have asked me to share my journey and story with men in there community. The hope is to get men thinking about their prostate health proactively and before there are symptoms.
